Linda Hoskins turns lockdown into the Stay Seen Project

Scottish artist, Linda Hoskins launched the Stay Seen Project on behalf of SOHTIS in March 2020.  Linda, a Fine Art graduate of Grays School of Art, has had many years experience in the Third Sector and is passionate about offering hope and help to people.  Creative by nature, The Stay Seen Project provides an opportunity to weave between her two passions; creativity and justice.

Using light, landscape, colour and texture, Linda creates work that has an ethereal outcome.  She uses texture and a layering technique to create unique painting to draw you into a world of peace.

‘May she soar in freedom’

Linda has launched the Stay Seen Project, which commits to donating 50% of every piece of art work sold, to bring freedom to those trapped in slavery in Scotland.  The funds raised will be used by SOHTIS to rescue victims in Edinburgh and ensure they have the specialist support they need to remain free and be able to rebuild their lives.

Wherever the paintings hang, they will be a constant reminder of the awfulness of slavery in our country and the hope that we can all bring as we play our part in bringing freedom.
