We believe everyone deserves to live in freedom with dignity and respect and we are committed to a slavery free Scotland.
We are on a mission to spread the word, equipping frontline and statutory services, faith groups and the general public to understand what human trafficking is, what it looks like in their community and their role in ending it! Make sure you know the signs.
Those most at risk of trafficking need support too! We are committed to developing
creative channels of communication with groups most at risk of trafficking,
encouraging dialogue, enabling resilience building and empowering them to
reject trafficking within their communities. If you would like resources to share with the groups you are working with, contact us at enquiries@sohtis.org
Check out our specific project pages to find out more about what we are doing in raising awareness of human trafficking in Scotland.
We are also:
– developing a peer education programme to encourage and enable young people to be more resilient to trafficking and become leaders in their communities and amongst their peers
– influencing faith leaders across Scotland to ensure that faith communities do all they can to become part of the solution of ending slavery and supporting survivors.
