We often say, ‘it takes a community to recover a victim of trafficking’. Today, for #CPW23, the focus is on communities and volunteers. We are joining with our partners calling on the Scottish government to work with 3rd Sector organisations to help shape a Scotland where communities and volunteers are valued and prioritised. At SOHTIS, we could not recover victims and support survivors of human trafficking as we do without amazing volunteers, supporters, faith groups and communities across Scotland. Call to Action
We can all be involved in being part of the solution to modern slavery and human trafficking in Scotland. Some as simple as raising awareness by following SOHTIS on social media and sharing our posts or joining our volunteer hubs, linking us with useful networking contacts and fundraising or donating funds.
