In tribute to the Tumbling Lassie, Prestonfield House has specially crafted ‘1687’ a unique and beautiful cocktail. The Tumbling Lassie was a victim of slavery in Edinburgh in 1687, her story lives on, as sadly does slavery, which is considered by many to be the greatest human rights issue of our time. Her story is a poignant reminder and calls us, in 2019,
to freedom, dignity and respect for all.
The ‘1687’ cocktail will be served on the 5 October 2019 at the annual Tumbling Lassie Ball, organised by the Faculty of Advocates and held in Prestonfield House. The event is the largest modern slavery fundraising event in Scotland and raises money for the work of SOHTIS and International Justice Mission.
This event is not to be missed, book your tickets now, limited spaces.
